In a sting operation by Maneka Gandhi’s People for Animals in Noida’s Sector 51, six people—including YouTuber Elvish Yadav—were accused of supplying snake venom for a party. They were charged under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A of the Indian Penal Code (criminal conspiracy). Elvish’s involvement in the rave party and obtaining snakes for similar gatherings was being investigated, while the other five were placed under custody.

According to a forensic study, samples taken from the party contained snake venom, namely from the cobra and krait species.

In an effort to expose the mistreatment of rare species, People for species carried out a sting operation and contacted Elvish Yadav after receiving information about his network of accomplices. The lawsuit claims that Elvish assisted them by connecting them with those who ultimately set up snake venom. In his films, Elvish stood beside snakes.

After being questioned about the issue many times, Elvish Yadav denied all of the accusations.

People for Animals conducted a sting operation on nine snakes that were discovered during the celebration; all of the snakes had had their venom glands removed. Out of the nine snakes, eight lacked teeth.

The rave party incident dates back to November 3, 2018, and it took place in a banquet venue located in Noida Sector 51. Elvish wasn’t at the celebration.

Following the worldwide success of his film YouTube Maxtern, as Sagar Thakur, being beaten up, Elvish found himself in yet another controversy. Elvish battered Maxtern, and he gave an explanation for it in a statement after a FIR was filed against him in Gurugram.
